Prof. Jonathan BarePastor Bare, the son of Pastor James Bare, at Salem, Owosso, graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2008. He was assigned to serve as a missionary in East Asia. He faithfully served in East Asia from 2008-2016. In 2016, he began serving as a member of the Pastoral Studies Institute (PSI) of Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary which collaborates with WELS Joint Missions to assist with pastoral training around the world. In this role, since 2016, he has traveled to Albania, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Russia, Ukraine, Vietnam, Zambia. In 2021, Pastor Bare accepted a call to become director of the PSI program.
Pastor Bare and his wife Kim have two children – Josiah (8) and Elina (4). They are members of Christ Alone Lutheran Church in Thiensville, Wisconsin. |
