Mr. Royce KriewallRoyce’s education began in 1939 at St. John’s, Bay City elementary school. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1957 with a Bachelor of Science having completed the Electrical Engineering (EE) and the Naval ROTC programs. He entered Naval aviation flight training immediately thereafter. Major active-duty assignments were in two patrol squadrons with combat missions flying Market Time sorties in Vietnam, two years as EE instructor at the Naval academy, four years’ experience in the Pentagon, two tours at the Naval War College and Executive Office at Naval Air Station Moffett Field, CA.
He earned a Master of Science degree from the University of Southern California while at Moffett Field. He had tours as Commanding Officer of Training Squadron-6 in Pensacola, FL and the NROTC Madison, WI and retired from the Navy there in 1982. He continued working in the engineering field at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, teaching at various Community Colleges and at William A Kibbe & Associates (engineering consulting firm) in Saginaw, MI. He and his wife, Marge, live in Saginaw, Michigan. He is a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, in Bay City, Michigan. |
